Musical trio go back to roots - The Cork News

In what’s being hailed as an “unique traditional Irish music tour”, Liam O’Connor, Caoimhín Ó Fearghail and Noel Hill will play in Baile Mhúirne next week. Spanning three generations, O’Connor (fiddle, viola), Ó Fearghail (uilleann pipes, flute, guitar, vocals) and Hill (concertina) are united by a deep knowledge and love for the music of the legendary masters of Irish tradition.

And for the concert on Saturday, September 14th, these three soloists will bring their own fresh, vibrant take on a classic music repertoire, along with unearthing some lesser-known melodies.
The event takes place at Ionad Cultúrtha and doors are at 8.30pm. Tickets, priced at €15/€10/€5, are available from 026 45733.
